Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut Lodge is the official presence of the Order of the Arrow in the Mid-America Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut means On the Hills Above the River referring to the council camps (Camp Cedars and Camp Eagle), which overlook the Platte River. Our lodge was formed in 1965 by merger of the Cha-pa Lodge (97) of the Southwest Iowa Council and Pohawk Lodge (445) of the Covered Wagon Council. In 2000, we underwent another merger with Miniconjou Lodge (438) of the Prairie Gold Council.  With nearly 1,800 members in 12 chapters covering 3 states - Kit-Ke-Hak-O-Kut Lodge has never been stronger!
